Hi everyone,
Exciting news! I have a workshop coming up end of September. Please, contact me if you would like to take part in it via email or on my website under ‘contact’. Here is more information about it:
This is a 3-hour practical acrylic painting workshop exploring how to create depth and interest in background trees and foliage. Come along for an afternoon of painting and learning in my Brockville studio. This workshop caters to beginners up to developing artists.
Saturday 26 September
2–5pm | $85 per person
Limited spaces
In order to create depth we’ll explore an interplay between:
– Brush choice & mark-making
– Soft & hard edges
– Mixing colours and value scale
– Translucent & opaque paint
– Smooth & textured effects

Please, book here by contacting me with your name, email and how many places you would like to book. I will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm your spot and send you the address.

Please bring whatever you have available of your acrylic paints and brushes. Don’t worry if you don’t have everything or different equipment. We will make do. The canvas we will be painting on is provided by me and it is of smaller size, therefore, smaller brushes are an advantage.
